Long sleeves needed

It’s getting cooler in the mornings. I went shopping today, in between taking care of some of my responsibilities.  It’s time to start looking for some winter clothes. My budget is having a problem fitting the look I want this year. The price of everything seems to put me in more of a looking then shopping mood. I am going to look at my old things and see what I can add to them. Sometimes an old outfit can look new and fresh by adding a new shirt, tie, a pair of pants, or belt. With just one item the look can be transformed quickly without spending a lot of time or money. I don’t have a lot of expensive thing hanging in my closest. I do have a hundred or so of neck ties. I am going to have to look for some green light specials or for some online deals on some items. I found that some places have Christmas decorations up already.  October just started yesterday.  I guess it’s time to put gifts on lay-a-way. Happy Holidays everyone.

  1. I just saw my first Christmas commercial yesterday. It was a lay-away commercial for Kmart. It seems like we just put our tree away. Boy the year sure does fly by.

  2. I know how you feel about the prices of everything. You should go to the store my friend likes to call G.W. Boutique. In other words, Goodwill. I shop there all the time. You would not believe what you will find there. One day I found 2 White House Black Market tank tops for $2 a piece. Also, they have a lot more than clothes. You might be able to find some Christmas presents there. Good luck.

  3. i agree with you. man the budget just won't allow you to do what you really want to do and the weather is changing. i like buying shirts to add to the old outfits as well cause you can always change up and it all looks brand new. do what you have to do. there is nothing wrong adding flavor to the old.

  4. I'm a re-sale shopper. I love Goodwill! Not only can you find good clothes and other items for much less, but also you help employ people. I routinely go there for winter coats and sweaters; I hate paying retail for anything!
